4+ year headache??

I've had this headache for about 4 days in a minute and its still going strong. I wake up with a dull affliction in my forehead area and it decrease and increases in intensity throughout the day. The aching has been primarily surrounded by the right side of my forhead just above and around the eye and temple. If i try to do any physical activity it get ten-fold worse, and i get this cold, pounding headache above my right eye. I haven't had any trauma or change in diet, stress, or sleep lately.

Any ideas what it is? I plan on going to the doc tomorrow if its still nearby.

The same piece happened to me. come to find out, I had high-ranking blood pressure. The Dr. put me on meds for it, and now the head soreness is gone.

Please, go see the Dr.

Good luck!
Have you ever tried a chiropractor?? I was in large school when I went to my first one. It is several years later and I will get headache, shoulder problems, knees ect. when a vertebra gets out of line it pinches nerves and cause all kinds of stuff depending where on earth it is out. I 've had shoulders , knees, jaw, chest bones adjectives out of whack and it causes alot of stress on the body. It may be something to look into. It is less expensive to a doctor and feel so good to have everything creased up again!!
Suga pl see what suits you.
If you are in cold country use all melt things.
Pl try cold water bath and take in if in hot country, if pain increases use melt.
If you have cough/cold body hot water hip bath will help.
Massage and exercise in front of morning sun is right thing, pl try.
Pl try simple acupressure given below for immediate nouns.
If it fails you will have to be in motion for Acupuncture.

There is hardly any medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not singular these but for RA, OA, Back ache, Ear ache/ringing, Stomach ache and almost adjectives painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.

Acidity, WORRY, sadness, excessive twirl, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation; drug side effects, stress, bad smell, TV & COMPUTER SOMETIMES, Blockage surrounded by the flow of Vital Energy, BODY CONSTITUTION etc are their causes.
None of them can be treated with tablets.
Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.

Acupuncture is the best treatment.
I can treat it beside naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.

Pain killers don't treat the distress but we loose the sense of pain for some time; in that duration our body itself treats sometime and credit go to meds.
The useless drugs have tremendous power of side effects like liver/kidney failure, ulcer, inflammation of intestines and lot more.

Avoid late sleeping sooner; worry, tension, spicy foods, sour fruits, stale bakery foods, SMOKING and alcohole.

Sweet foods, COCOANUT WATER,sweet fruits approaching dates, milk, rice, SPROUTS, SALADS and good sleep will oblige if cough is not there.

But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice within opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel palm leaf helps but it is very strong.

If it is acute pl scrabble a painful point (with round tipped pen/jimmy) 3-6 mm behind your thumb staple and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.

For forehead/eye affliction the points are in front of nails on the finger tips or 3-7 mm below.

It may disappear with ease too.

It sounds like you may have a pinched resolve in your neck. If the doctor doesn't find anything, try a perfect Chiropractor.

Meanwhlie, Ice bags work wonders for those headaches.
You should in reality go the ER - it sounds like a migraine or a sinus migraine (or it could be some type of other underlying medical condition) - and they can check your neurological responses while you are within and do appropriate testing on site. My family doctor couldn't do anything for my migraines once they have started - so I had to go to the ER for a strong niggle medication that basically knocks you out for a few days until you can seize the headache under control.

Symptoms:

Migraine is a chronic condition of recurrent attacks. Most (but not all) migraine attacks are associated beside headaches. Migraine headaches usually are described as an intense, throbbing or pounding strain that involves one temple. (Sometimes the pain can be located in the forehead, around the eye, or the spinal column of the head). The pain usually is unilateral (on one side of the head), although about a third of the time the throbbing is bilateral. The unilateral headaches typically change sides from one attack to the subsequent. (In fact, unilateral headaches that other occur on the same side should alert the doctor to consider a inferior headache, for example, one caused by a brain tumor). A migraine headache usually is aggravated by daily actions like walking upstairs. Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, facial pallor, cold hands, cold foot, and sensitivity to light and sound commonly shepherd migraine headaches. As a result of this sensitivity to light and nouns, migraine sufferers usually prefer to lie in a tranquillity, dark room during an attack. A typical attack lasts between 4 and 72 hours

Bottom dash - I would have already gone to the ER - it's crazy to be in headache for no reason - and you shouldn't take risks near your brain.
caffeine intake? its' the only entry I know of that does this to me!
I'm 19 as well. I've have the exact same symptoms that you described for the past three years. It's quite possible that you suffer from migraines, but since it's singular been four days, there's no way to communicate for sure (yet). It's also likely (and probably what your doctor will tell you) that you enjoy "cluster" headaches. This is what they call it when you enjoy a series of terrible headaches for a few days at a time (it's a smaller amount severe diagnosis than migraines, hence doctors tend to shoot for "cluster" headaches before jump to the conclusion that you have migraines). When I went to my doctor, she prescribed Imitrex, a migraine medication, and it really does the trick. It doesn't completely bring rid of my headaches, but it significantly lowers the pain. I hope your doctor can facilitate you out. Best of luck and feel better soon! =]
good idea
it could just be a migraine. i've had some that final a week or two.
anytime you enjoy a headache that hurts that bad for that long you should go to the doctor, at lowest possible.
have you tried tylenol or ibruprofen? if those didn't work that is even more explanation to go to the doctor, you might even want to go to the hospital.
headache are usually just that, and it could very in good health be a migraine...but the other possibilities can be serious enough that you don't want to ignore the initial symptoms and continue for something worse to happen.
so i would say, try some over the counter affliction medication if you haven't already, try to drink a soda or something...and tomorrow when you see the doctor be very specific and to the point about your symptoms. if you do develop any other symptoms, no issue how insignificant they may seem, go to the hospital, only just in case. better undamaging than sorry.
good luck!
i couldn't tell you what it is but i find when i have headache like that it helps abundantly to not look at anything too close or be in the sun too much. try wearin sunglasses if you go outside and don't scrutinize too much tv. take some BC, you can get it from any gas station. purloin it w/ water and go to sleep. it might give a hand
the same point had happened to me but for more afterwards a week. The problem with me was that i played videogames too much so stop using the t.v or anything that your really own to look into such as ipods and other electronics with screens. Get more sleep and you should try using Tylenol or advil but dont over dose yourself similar to i did . It will prolly be hard to get sleep when your go before hurts i know because of personal exp. Personally you should go to doc before it get worse, unfortunitly i didnt go to doc but the solution im tellin you may be wrong you might have hurt yourself by playing sports or suomething
Contrary to the belief of some, near ARE medications that can prevent as well as abort migraines.

With that said, I urge anyone who have a headache like none they have ever experienced to want PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL attention asap. You may "just" have a migraine, but unexplained headache is nothing to mess around near. It could very well be nil of any major concern, but it could just as slickly be something that needs to be treated quickly.

If it does turn out that you are diagnosed next to migraines, educate yourself, find a doctor that understands migraines (preferably a neurologist), and hang on to a journal of the following:
1. foods and drinks you ingested before the birth,
2. severity of the pain,
3. other symptoms (such as nausea, senitivity to light, nouns, and/or smell, exhaustion, and irritability),
4. duration,
5. weather changes until that time onset,
6. and even menstrual changes)
Having this information for your doctor can help him determine the course of conduct to take to help control your migraines. .
