Does anyone know how to capture rid of of the night leg cramps?

Answers:
check Dr Gott's trellis site, I think he has one. He writes surrounded by some newspapers, he had a suggestion I reckon to put a bar of soap at the bottom of your bed. That's what I remember anyway, that's why I say to check to see if he have a web site.
I heard that increasing potassium helps this. Are you pregnant (can't even notify your sex by your avatar)? Leg cramping increases during pregnancies. So, munch on a banana, avacado or some strawberries and this might help.
Dr Gott answered this problem for many leg cramp sufferers. He reports frequent people placing a small, wrapped bar of appendage soap (no particular brand) under the bottom sheet of the bed close to the bottom. Claims it works for many. No explanation excepts it seems to work Source(s): "The Union" Grass Valley each day newspaper
Definitely drink lots of dampen, and if you don't like banana's you can take a potassium supplement.
I've heard that when you get up up in the middle of the night next to horrible leg cramps, it is a calcium and zinc deficiency. I use to get them adjectives the time before I started taking a multivitamin. I hope that helps!
Try magnesium supplements along with the bananas.I,ve have problems with this. They got so impossible even on one day that I took them in 5 areas from my toes to my upper leg. Stretching and walking them out wasn't helping.I remembered my Mom have said that they can go up as far as your heart which is just another muscle.I call my son, took 5 of his magnesium, called a naturopathic doctor who told me also to take some solution magnesum, then I went to outpatients at the hospital. The first entity that the doctor said was that I must be low in magnesium. After a few hours the cramping subsided. So the magnesium is the push button!Good luck with it!
Find out the cause. It is allways better to treat the cause than the symptom. Otherwise, it's approaching treating a toothache with pain pills instead of pulling the tooth. In the meantime, drink some gatorade, chomp through a banana, apply heat, stretch, and massage. Hopefully, that'll comfort until you can get eval. by a doc. - you do need checked for PVD. It could be blood clot surrounded by your legs, which is serious. Source(s): Paramedic
Also try stretching your calves. You can lie contained by bed straight and flat, and keep your knees locked and move your toes upward toward your head. You should win a nice stretch in the calves.
Try eating bananas and drinking more wet. Also stretch (carefully) before bed.
