I had a normal MRI but still enjoy back and leg pain. Hurts my calf when bending, straigtening leg, driving. Dr think it is 2 different problems, I disagree. Anyone else had this.

sounds resembling scyatica? the main nerve contained by your back may be pinched or disturbed. i have that problem.
my husband have spinal issues, the spinal colum is srinking, pinching the nerve. he has those issues as in good health.
if you are not happywith one docs opinion, try another.
try holistic therapy, wipe, accupressure.
change in diet next to releive swelling.

. it does sound similar to two problems!! probably leg cramp in your calf muscle and maybe a muscle spasm within your lower back which is causing sciatic self-confidence pain radiating down your leg. i have the leg cramps if i dehydrate, or overuse my legs. my lower put a bet on problem is sciatica caused by a recurring spasm contained by a previously pulled muscle.
What does he think it is. Its have to disagree with him if we dont know what he said. Your MRI was conventional . You have calf pain and you doctr think its 2 diffrent problems? What?

An EMG can rule out any nerve break or problems. Nuerotin is a great drug for nerve damages. I have severe courage damage in both my legs and the nuerotin help a lot.
You need to hold your doctor run an EMG on your lower back and lower extremities.
Sciatica
There are many things it could be, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, a blood clot could cause calf affliction, you need to see a Neurologist and have an EMG. Sciatica would incentive pain in your buttock, and down the leg.
It would enjoy been good to include the two things the Doctor think it is...my friend has numbness going down the leg and in the toes, and it turned out to be a bulging disk surrounded by the lower back pressing on the sciatica nerve. (But it showed up on their MRI. )
Try consulting a orthopaedic. How can u be sure that its a nerve pain. In luggage its a nerve pain in that are other tests if MRI is inconclusive like OMG/NCV study.
