I've had watery eyes for a couple of weeks very soon - I got some gel (the stuff you spread inside the lower lid) --it didn't work. So now the GP have suggested I may have an allergy and given me eyedrops. But how do you put in eyedrops on your own?
I'm approaching Rachel in Friends -if you remember that episode where everyone have to pin her down to get the drops in? That's what my kids did at the weekend. LOL. But everytime I try to do it myself I blink and it runs down my facade.
Any suggestions/tips for self administration of the drops ?

its simple . tilt your go before backwards, close your eyes ( if you are scared) put the drops in the medial canthus. (thats near the root of the muzzle.) open your eyes, tilt you head sideways and move your eyeballs to spread the solution.
I do it by standing side on to a mirror, tilt my go before back and hold my lower lid back and that mode i can see the drop about to drip in my eye. for some purpose the drop always takes ages to drip out of the bottle
You don't have to drop it into you eye. Just pull down your lower lid and place a drop on the inside top of the lower lid. Then blink it into your eye.
Lie down on a bed etc and look away from the dropper, using your other appendage to pin back your eye lids, that's what i own to do anyway lol
You call a knight contained by white armour that is Homer's decent and tolerate him do the work Lil.
Usually I do them by tipping my head back and drop them on my eyes.
