Does a "growling" stomach really be determined you're hungry?

Answers:
mine other growls. I drink a lot of water to stop this.
It just means that your intestines are working, surrounded by other words moving things along as they should. There may be a bit of air in between cause the growling sound. You know automatically when you are hungry, and the growling doesn't indicate that, unless it is happening while you hold that hungry feeling, and you associate the two together. One of the first things nurses do when you are returned to your room after some surgery, is listen to your intestines, and if they can hear them making a growling sound, they know you are wakening next to everything going right. If they don't hear anything, that tells them your intestines are still asleep, which happens when you are put out near penathol, all inside parts of the body go to sleep. So growling, conjecture of it this way, your insides are working. Wishing you the very best infantile lady. Source(s): My experience and opinion.
im not sure its been a while since i brushed up on stomach growls.
You could be.You could also be nervous, getting geared up to have a bowel movement or just own some gas. I hate it when it happens contained by public. I once had a loud growl every minute in public and be embarrassed. I'm not sure if it was because I have to go to the potty or because I was panicky, maybe a mixture of both. If your stomach is growling because you are hungry you will know.
yeahyeah
a "growling" stomach may not mean you are hungry, its your brain that decide that. A "growling" stomach means there is an pointless stomach. The growling is the product of the digestive system digesting nothing.
I believe so, at least within my experience
No, those are worms, i had that and my doctor give me worm medicine to stop them. When they rub themselves together you hear the sound.
its angry if it growls AT you
I think so. Whenever my tummy is growling, I eat. Then the growling stops! =)

There is a toddler alien within.
no, I've had my stomach growl AFTER I've eat a bunch. I think it's the sound of your stomach digesting. if it lacks food, it might try to digest doesn`t matter what it can find or has left over. Im within no way a professional, but thats my logical opinion. :D

Basic answer=no, it doesn't other mean that.

Not always. It could be digesting food. Dont our body net sounds at times that embarras us. lol
Either that, or you accidentally swallowed your chihuahua.
No, It may just be gas.

Hope this helps.
It's the noise that your stomach make when there is nothing but nouns in it. When it digests food it kinda squeezes together to help break it up, so if in attendance isn't any food in there, nouns is going to get pushed out.
no it channel its mad at you
ahaha it does
Though stomach growling is commonly hear and associated with hunger and an absence of food within the stomach, it can occur at any time, on an empty or full stomach. Furthermore, growling doesn't individual come from the stomach but, just as often, can be hear coming from the small intestines. Growling is more commonly associated with hunger because it is typically louder when the stomach and intestines are empty and so the organs' contents don't muffle the uproar.

This growling has been of interest for so masses years that the ancient Greeks came up with the to some extent interesting name for it: borborygmi (the plural of borborygmus). The etymology of the term relies on onomatopoeia; it is an attempt to put the rumbling nouns into words. Borborygmi actually translates as "rumbling."

The physiological origin of this rumbling involves muscular diversion in the stomach and small intestines. In general, the gastrointestinal tract is a hollow tube that runs from mouth to anus and its walls are primarily composed of layer of smooth muscle. When the walls are activated and squeeze the tract's contents to mix and propel food, gas and fluids through the stomach and small intestines, it generates a rumbling clamour. This squeezing of the muscular walls is termed peristalsis and involves a ring of contraction moving aborally (away from the oral cavity) towards the anus a few inches at a time.

The generation of these breakers of peristalsis results from a rhythmic fluctuation of electrical potential in the smooth muscle cells, which, adjectives other conditions being appropriate, will cause the muscle to contract. This fluctuation is call the basic electrical rhythm (BER) and is a result of inherent activity of the enteric over-sensitive system, which is found in the walls of the gut. The BER causes the muscle cell of the stomach and small intestines to activate at a regular rhythm (three and 12 times per minute, respectively), in a bearing similar to, but slower than, the rhythmicity of cardiac muscle in the heart. The autonomic nervous system and hormonal factor can modulate this BER.

Though the rate and force of peristalsis typically increases in the presence of food, activity also increases after the stomach and small intestines enjoy been empty for approximately two hours. In the latter skin, receptors in the walls of the stomach sense the absence of food, cause a reflex generation of waves of electrical entertainment. (migrating myoelectric complexes, or MMCs) in the enteric nervous system. These MMCs travel along the stomach and small intestines and organize to hunger contractions. Such hunger contractions start in the antrum, or lower region, of the stomach and propagate along the entire length of the gut, sweeping to the terminal ileum. They clear out any and all stomach contents?including mucus, remaining foodstuffs and germs?and keep them from accumulating at any one site.

The contractions also produce vibrations and the rumbling hullabaloo associated with hunger. Hunger contractions may continue for 10 to 20 minutes once initiated, and later repeat every one to two hours until the next meal is ingested. These are not one and the same as hunger pangs, which start 12 to 24 hours after the last dinnertime and may continue for a few days before leisurely subsiding. (It is possible such pangs are important surrounded by the hunger sensation that drives animals to eat.) Low blood sugar enhances this diversion, which can also be induced using an intravenous infusion of the hormone motilin. After feeding, the MMCs subside.
