if you dropped a big solid block of *anything* it would hurt your foot. now, if you gone the big block on your foot afterward i'm sure it would help keep the swelling from the bruise (or broken foot). but over adjectives damage would be done and no matter what the body is going to show some outward evidence of the injury.
