What amount burn is this?

I dropped a french fry on my leg, and it left a burn mark and it itches and hurts... I be just wondering if its really serious? And what can I do to help the agony: aloe vera?
Answers:
It sounds like a first degree or partial bulk burn. Keep it clean; aloe vera is excellent; so is using a triple antibiotic ointment, similar to Bacitracin. It will itch until it heals. Resist all urges to scrape or pick at it! As long as it doesn't get infected, it isn't serious. Look for signs of infection. Check yourself for a fever, if you perceive like you might have one. Look for growing glow around the area, and look for any signs of pus. Don't worry more or less a clear discharge.
No it is not serious at all. Its like drinking hot soup and it burns the roof of your mouth. Aloe Vera is dependable for that. It will heal fully in give or take a few a week to two weeks.
Homeopathy :-
CALENDULA OINTMENT to heal instantly and without any scar nothing like Calendula for unambiguous deep wounds gashes or burns.
Take keeping and God bless you
I know this sounds crazy, but toothpaste. I promise...works everytime. of late plain ol' toothpaste. not gel. Source(s): experience
its a first degree burn. aloe helps or burn cream. its also call a superficial burn.
1st point most likely. Just try to cool the area to stop any further vast tissue damage. aloe may help but within general avoid anything with grease as this just continues the burning process.
probably only 1st or second level..
any topical anisthetic will help..like lidocaine or even aloe vera will aid..or neosporin.. or boudreaux's butt paste..yes it is a real product.. you can find it at kids r us..
ICE
ice could further overexploit the skin. cool water is the best. you probably have a first amount burn comparable to a sun burn. if it blisters, it's a partial thickness second degree burn. cool wet at this point is just to alleviate pain. if you use aloe vera lotion, put it contained by the refridgerator to sooth your burn.
Wow, a french fry injury.

Try washing near cool water.
rime
First point. Obnoxious, but not serious. If it was second degree, it would blister and hurt more, and if it be third degree the skin would be charred and it wouldn't hurt because the nerve ending would be destroyed. But I highly doubt dropping a french fry would ever do that much damage. :)
This would be a very minor burn, 1degree.
A cool rag is the best point.
Ice can make it blister.
Superficial burn. Cold compress. Pain shouldn't last to long.
Its not very serious. I would suggest that a little aloe vera and mabey some vitamin e would assistance. If you think that its getting infected go to your doctor and win it checked out. When I was little i dropped a pan of grease on to my leg and had 3rd degree burns for 4 weeks and have to get skin graphs and bandage change regularly. I lived with this for almost 6 months. After all the plain wounds were closed i used vitamin e cream everyday and it left little or no scarring. Kepp it verbs and dry and it should heal in no time.
aloe vera will help. it sounds like a first-degree burn to me.
if it didnt blister then it is only first scope... simply put ice on it or run it under cold sea until the pain quits. if it blistered then it is a second scope burn. DO NOT POP THE BLISTERS! they will turn into open wounds! if it is a second degree burn later do the ice or water entity and it shound be fine as long as you dont mess with it too much. in any case it is ok to apply aloe vera to the burn. i reccomend the blue kind. this is not serious you are going to be fine Source(s): personal knowlege
between first degree and second. aloe vera is righteous.
No, it's not a serious burn..serious is when the chubby your french fry was cooking in splashes on to you!

Yep..the 'juice' from an aloe vera plant is a wonder cure, as is Papaya Ointment.
it seems to be a 1st degree burn zilch to worry about as long as you do not hold a bleeding blister. Aloe will help a lot so would a showery cold cloth.
cool water will help. If your skin get hot enough and you take away the grill source your skin will keep cooking itself... like noodles. Now I doubt that a french fry could own scalded you THAT bad but I'm not there- aloe vera is a very suitable idea though.
If it blistered and was right out of the fryer, it could be a 2nd degree---rare, but it can happen--aloe vera or ice.
run it over some cold water that will clutch out the burn
If it is red, it is a first level burn (minor). If a blister forms, it is a second degree burn (moderate). If it is burnt black, it is a third point burn (serious-requires medical attention).
It's probably a 1'st Degree burn, a touch Aloe Vera cream and cover with a band aid, and your well-mannered to go! Source(s): Red Cross First Aid
