It feels like a pimple on my actual lip, is that possible? What else could it be? There is rather red bump on the outside. I know it couldn't be an STD or anything because I'm married and this has never happened since.

I think it's 1 in 3 folks carry a herpes virus, which lays dormant most of the time and for some, it rarely pops up. Just because you hold a fever blister doesn't mean you contracted it sexually, you may own been born with it or picked it up by some other vehicle. unfortuantly once you have it, there's no getting rid of it, just hold to deal with it. Go to Walmart asap, receive some fever blister cream, and start dabbing it on as much as you can remember to, put cool pack on it, don't TOUCH IT unless applying something to it. and just hope for the best! Your in for a right 2 weeks of misery with those suckers though, sorry to break the bad word! :-(
