I just had my finger slammed contained by the door! From the first knuckle up to the tip, it's purple from the top of my nail to the underside of my finger. I iced it but it swelled and it looks like I own a purple clot in the cushion part of my finger. It's strong to the touch and hurts like amother!Don't know If I broke the bone or fractured it, but what should I do about the blood? My finger is turning more purple

it looks approaching purple and it hurts but it will heal in time. when that happen the your finger is hurt from inside the skin( the inner skin) and the outer skin is not damaged so u r not bleeding outside, in time it will alleviate and the outer skin will break and it will disappear.
