Any ideas on what i can do to improve the pain?? Your advice would be sooooooo apretiated
Answers:
You could try taking Ibuprofen & paracetamol.
The Ibuprofen works as a musclu relaxant & the paracetamol dulls the pain, together they work wonders. If you can bring the, try the 400mg ibuprofen, they are much better than the 200mgs.
Just till you get to the docs that is.
Ibuprofen - it is a better painkiller than paracetamol where on earth inflammation is concerned, and it is usually the main choice for back dull pain (believe me, I know)...
Otherwise, the little walks you are doing to keep moving is apt, don't sit too long. The doctor can advise better when you see them.
I use a Tens electrical device there very biddable and give instant relief
I did something similar and really messed up the sciatic bottle. The only thing that help was getting into physical therapy. And I did swot that heated back pads are the worst possible article you could do. Ice would have been a better bet when you be first injured and might still help a little. Until you see the doctor, find some assured and simple exercises for the back and your core.
Have you tried a tens machine I hold never used one but my friend used one for her back while she was pregnant and she found it really worked, they flog them at Lloyd's Chemists they had them on offer not long ago, worth a shift I reckon I am sure they where only around tenner.

Hi Lisa
It sounds like you have merely bruised your back.
If it is safe for you to do so, run the the pharmacy and buy some 400mg Ibuprofen tablets, read the leaflet, and take the maximum dose every morning.
Try to keep moving but when you are siting at work adopt a good posture.
DONT move up or carry anything heavy as far as possible.
If it does not increase in a week, see tour doctor.
Good Luck.
Try an ice pack and some painkillers if you really cant get to the doc.
When I own severe back pain I usually purloin a hot bath and pop a couple Advil. I also stretch my back out, although I would recommend that for your situation. Perhaps have someone lightly massage the nouns would help too. :) Source(s): I have scoliosis and rods contained by my spine, which usually cause a great deal of hindmost pain.
Go to the doctor first to trademark sure there is nothing seriously wrong after the crash down. Then you might want to consider going to a Chiropractor if the pain does not go away.
'buy an inversion board. receive on eBay , but always consult a doctor.
A poke in the eye! Will filch your attention off your back!
bruffane is for muscle misery but u shuld go 2 doc 2 find out if any serious hurt is ther , and u can use a home remedy = in a small utencil appropriate 1. turti2. haldi3.alovera juice of full one leaf .4. adjectives salt 2/3tsp now affix 5 ml of water in it and put on gas permit this mixture dissolve all turti and let some body , ur friend or partner apply this mixture [ littlehoter than warm] on the rear wher its still paining its best for any muscle pains and without side effect
try a back support belt, this will also help you whilst sitting down, but dance to the doctor!
Paracetamol and codeine, the strongest painkiller you can carry without prescription. I took it when i had a slipped disc. If that fail vodka is always a winner!
Try lie on your stomach on the floor near your arms at your side and lift your feet and legs together slightly up and down. It may hurt for a while and dont push it to hard but it can help next to the pain. Ice is better for back headache then heat.
I have a vibrate cushion and it really helps sooth back misery. You could also try a TENS machine.
Tylenol, 500mg will assist. Take three the first time. There are times that cold will help more than heat. If your fund muscles are swollen, ice will help bring down the swelling and that will security the pain. A swollen muscle will usually "bulge" a bit. The other option is to alternate hot and cold. Try to rest as much as you can over the weekend to furnish it a chance to heal.
budge to the chemist and get some pain killer from them other than that what you have be doing with heat pad is about the only other point you can do or even a water bottle behind your posterior while sitting or when in bed at night to dance to sleep... I'd say you might have broken a rib by the sounds of things
