One of my friends ( not close friends but i have known him since he moved here within 7th grade) was riding a bike and was hit by a coupé. This happened Tuesday and he has be in a coma ever since. He has positively no brain activity at all and the doctors don't know if he will stir up or not. He's not some kind of small kid either he is pretty tough guy. What's the likelihood of him surviving? How long could it possibly take to come out of the coma if he ever does? Also if he did come out of the coma would he defiantly be brain undermined or what? Also another thing if u read this maybe u could pocket some time to pray for this guy, he is a really stand up guy. AND HE'S ONLY 17!!

I am massively sorry to hear that. If their is no Brain Activity their is not a good chance he will come out of the coma. and if he does he will probably hold alot of Brain Damage. But i can't say i am not a Doctor. He will be in my Thoughts and Prayers
I reckon everyone who reads this will send you a prayer
If the doctors say he have absolutely no brain activity later chances are he wont wake up and if by some accident he does he wont have any brain functions. I am so sorry to hear about something as frightening as this. He will be in my families thoughts an prayers.
people do wake up cant pretend to know but i wiil pray
I am so sorry. A few months ago, my sister's friends be in an accident and one of them died after a coma, while the other one took two months to get up up. The chances are 50-50. I hope your accquaintance wakes up. I'll pray for him.
oo he's fuced
explicitly very sad, and i hold prayed and hope soon your friend will be awakened, from this sleep! Good Luck GBY
i will pray for him god bless u and him
singular time will tell. say a prayer or some point else that ive hear people do is to play soft music for them. good luck. I have a teacher that was within a coma atleast a year. she woke up and continued pursueing an english degree. she walks next to a cane but that is the biggest struggle she have now.
You can't predict this kind of thing, If he's brain late then he is like inert with just his heart hammering and he will never wake up, but his heart will only lick if he is put on machines and that's just making him suffer more. In my opinion, his kinfolk should donate his healthy organs, that's only solitary if he has no chance of surviving contained by any way. And I will pray for him and his family and for you as in good health because I feel your concert for him and here's a hug for you OOOOOOO
BUT with God, anything is possible for a miracle
AWWWWWW That's sad. All you can do is hope for the best. Pray 4 him!
And it doesn't matter if he' tough or not. If he's within a coma, even the toughest people can have no brain hobby
Thats horrible. I'm sorry and I'll pray for him and his family<3
goodluck<3
Comas roughly last a few days to a few weeks, rarely more than 2 to 5 weeks but it can end as long as several years. After this time, some patients gradually come out of the coma, some progress to a vegetative state. Some patients who have enter a vegetative state go on to regain a degree of awareness. Others remain contained by a vegetative state for years or even decades (the longest recorded period self 37 years).
The outcome for coma and vegetative state depends on the cause, location, severity and extent of neurological damage. A deeper coma alone does not necessarily be a sign of a slimmer chance of recovery, because some those in deep coma get better well while others in a so-called milder coma sometimes come to nothing to improve. People may emerge from a coma with a combination of physical, intellectual and psychological difficulties that entail special attention. Recovery usually occurs gradually — patients acquire more and more skill to respond. Some patients never progress beyond very basic responses, but heaps recover full awareness. Regaining consciousness is not instant: in the first days, patients are simply awake for a few minutes, and duration of time awake gradually increases. Its hard to predetermine taking back for any coma patient. The brain is so complex. Read wiki's page on Coma's. You'll get profoundly of good insight there. We adjectives will wish for a fast and complete recouping! Source(s): The Great Wikipedia.com, Go there for everything thats on your mind.

The chances of him coming out of the coma adjectives depends.
