i have like 40-50 mosquito bites
ive done the toothoaste, the calomine, the rubbing alcohol
is here anything that can actually make them move about away?!
instead of just temporarily relieving the itch?
this is getting ridiculous, im all red and lumpy and scratch like crazy!?
any tricks with baking soda or something that will dry it out?
Answers:
dang you must drink a lot of bananas or something
try vicks vapor rub...that does the trick for me...of course i didnt enjoy anywhere near 40 to 50 bites!
sorry, but calamine is best.

Once the mosquito injects her saliva, zilch will make the bump go away faster. All you can do is relieve the itch (and different remedies work differently on different folks and with different mosquitoes). Alcohol or an astringent (or witch hazel) will dry them, but not make them disappear. (Baking soda is to neutralize the formic acerbic from bee, wasp and hornet stings and ant bites. The itching from a mosquito bite is due to the anticoagulant she injects into the site and the allergic reaction you have to her saliva. [Yes, "her" - mannish mosquitoes don't bite. The blood the females collect is for their eggs.])
Put some fresh lemon on it.
