Do you mull over the five-second rule works?

Answers:
maybe
Yes, 3 was not enough.
Five second, five schmecond :
Waste not, want not,
Pick it up and eat it !!
no, they did a story on that on Myth Busters.
It does if the place where on earth you drop something is clean.

Otherwise, no.
The five-second rule does not work.

The show, "Myth Busters", did a show on this subject. They tested the bacteria content on different foods that be dropped on a floor for different time periods. They proved the bacteria amount is matching whether it's on a floor for 5 seconds or 30 seconds.
No! What if doesn`t matter what your were eating fell within a pile of poop?
yes, well let's just vote i haven't died from following it yet but there is an exception next to gummie bears...they pick up every single thing i.e. on the floor regardless of how clean the floor may be.
I saw a show It said you still return with germs on it food that you dropped
It works because it is a mind over event situation. You're not convinced that the stuff you're eating is contaminated, so you'll be OK. The mind is an amazing thing...
Technically, it's totally irrelevant. Bacteria don't move nearly fast enough to truly crawl onto a dropped piece of foodin under 5-10 minutes. The point where they can really procure on it the point of impact, where outside forces can move the bacteria onto the piece of food. Therefore, sympathetically placing a piece of food on the ground and leaving it for 5 minutes is much safer than dropping it and picking it up 5 seconds next.
nope it doesent...and ur toilet seat is the cleanest place within ur home Source(s): mythbusters
i wouldn't give my kids anything that fell on the floor.
Honestly I wouldn't worry going on for it. I eat things that have be on the floor for an hour. It honestly doesn't matter, unless your a Germaphobe.
