hi my 4 yr old son woke up last darkness with a sore finger now it have a lump on it the size of a 5p it is filled with pallid puss is there anything i should be doing to help this walk away or does he need to see a gp

see your gp. also, one method is, make a bowl of water as hot as your son can button and add salt. go for a dip the finger/hand in the salty wet. you need about 3 pea-sized amount of saline. but definitely see a doctor.

i am assuming you don't know what caused it and in that defence take him to the docs especially if he is showing any signs of anything else wrong. It sounds quite big to me so if you pop it yourself it may procure infected.
I always say its better to be nontoxic then sorry when it comes to my kids I don't care if they muse im an over anxious mother, sorry to rant lol
