2nd point burn treatment?

I just burnt my inner forearm on a waffle iron (lol) and i promptly ran it under cool hose down for around 10 minutes, then soaked a washcloth in cold marine and applied it and would cool and reapply when it lost temperature. I did this for about 30 minutes. The burn have two white lines from the iron, and a red circle around them. It burns and i've wrapped it in gauze. Should i apply neosporin or a burn spray? I've read not to but that doesn't seem right. Thanks contained by advance.
Answers:
Keep putting cold water on it until it stops hurting.

Then hold on to it clean and dry. The intact skin will be enough to prevent infection.

If it get dry and hard as it heals, some lotion or foot cream will keep it soft and prevent cracking. Source(s): My emergency care book
do what the guy above me said. but if the skin does break or skin off...then self use neosporin.
