I have my lip pierced and I kind of simply like swallowed my lip bar.
Its a clear plastic one. And in a minute its kind of just lodged sticking into my throat.
I maintain couching and had a ton of drink and some food but it wont shift!
Should I go to hospital or freshly stick it out?
Answers:
No you need to shift to the hospital because there could be a risk of infection. I would go asap.
if it is down the backbone of your throat then it could very well slip down and you could choke to death
can you see it? if you can then particularly carefully try and get it next to tweezers or forceps
if this doesn't work then go to A and E but be deeply careful not to know it further back
I'm assuming it's a retainer since it's clear? If it is, those are pretty small and it probably should've gone down your throat already.
However, if it's an acrylic stud, that's a little bigger and would get logded more efficiently in your throat.
Either way, PLEASE see a doctor ASAP.
Go to hospital or a doctor and have it examine.
wait a few days, if it hasnt moved step to hospital or docs x
you have need of to go straight to the hospital to get it removed
its the hospital for you & sooner fairly than later you do NOT want to cause any further sabotage
you should jump because if you were to swallow something by accident that be magnetic that could catch on to the lip stick and close your airways and then you wouldn't be able to breathe and afterwards die so watch what you are doing and what you eat! Source(s): A dog did that and it cost millions rotten dollars because they had to cut the dog open and carry the things out and stitch him back together!
If it's truly stuck surrounded by the esophagus or trachea/bronchial tree then someone will need to go and get it out. If it's left in the esophagus, it'll erode through the wall and perforate the esophagus and THAT'S a tremendously painful and life threatening problem. If it's contained by the trachea or the bronchial tree, it'll become the nidus of an infection.
Such removals are typically not a do-it-yourself job. Best to visit the hospital.
