what kind of gloves are we chitchat about? if they are latex gloves you could be developing an allergic reaction to the latex powder; which does take place to people who wear them on a regular basis approaching Drs., nurses and surgical techs; but, most likely it's contact dermatitis caused from who know what. if you believe it's the gloves then lay off for awhile if you can and treat the artificial area with 1% hydrocortozone cream that you can buy at any pharmacy otc. Source(s): i'm a surgical tech and i see this adjectives the time.
Its probably nothing but i would still push for making an appointment to see your local doctor or gp. Chances are the inflammation will die down or you will be prescribed some soothing creams.
I suffer alike / exact symptom.
I get from my Dermatologist a special moisturizing cream that is available singular by prescription. Source(s): This Rx is called SENSI-CARE.
It is sold as an Rx by Convatec corp.
You might be allergic to the materials that the gloves are made of. Try getting a different type of glove made of something different and see if the problem persists or quits.
Are they Latex?? If so, you are probably allergic. Stop wearing them and take some Benadryl. This is becoming a more common allergy than surrounded by the past.
Go see a doctor. If they're latex gloves maybe your allergic. Try Hydrocortisone cream for the rash and some ibuprofen for the inflammation.
G-luck!
