What happen to a cut minus stiches?

I cut my arm and I don't want to go get stiches? What will begin to my cut?
Answers:
it will still heal but maybe not as swift or have a worse scar. Try butterfly bandage to help pull it together maintain it clean and use a good antibiotic such as Neosporin. But stitches aren't that fruitless you should go to doctor , hospital or clinic tell them you don't want stitches and tolerate them decide which is best for you.
It will just be a dark scar...With stitches you have a indiscriminate of completly gettiong rid of your cut.If your cut is deep and you dont get stitches it will be a raise scar and possible grow hair...I suggest stitches, we are such babies that they will put us to sleep.so dont sweat it!
more chance for infection, scar tissue will be worse, and bleeding may not subside if impossible enough.
The first two answerers are right, also, it will take rather a bit longer to heal, since the skin is spread. It needs time to produce a wider, larger scab. You will own that scar forever.
Not every cut requirement stiches. If it's superficial and the bleeding stopped, there's no problem....just be careful to clean it every day with verbs water and soap. Good luck!
As long as the wound stays verbs and you have not exposed anything that needs coverage (like a guts,) then the wound will just give somebody a lift longer to heal and the gap will imbue in with mark tissue. The healed wound might look more strange than if it were sutured closed, but most wounds restore to health with time. If you've chosen not to have it sutured closed, you simply need to accept rather more risk. Source(s): I am a Plastic Surgeon.
you will have a much bigger mutilation and longer healing time with more risk of infection. Good luck and God bless and put angels on your pillows.
I did the same point. Keep it covered apply an anti-biotic. If didn't get stitches and its been 24 hours its too tardy to get stitches anyway. The worst you'll have is a noticable defect. But after it heals use Mederma everyday on the scar it will produce it less noticble. This stuff really works. plus its #1 doctor recommended for scars.
first verbs the cut good. cover it to keep dirt and germs out of it. hold it clean and dry, it will heal if the cut isn't too reflective. be careful though,if it is deep you could bring back a terrible infection if not properly protection for. good luck.
your question is completely vague. more info is needed on length and depth of injury. most doctors will not sew a laceration that is elder than 24 hrs.
