cold water, beside ice in it, and soak till you yelp. do it immediately to remove the heat surrounded by your skin or it will continue to burn. also, it is good if for the adjectives, soak plantain leaves in olive oil for in the order of six months, then strain the oil through cheese cloth, de-ice a loump of beeswax, mix, pour into babyfood jars, and store in the fridge. this unguent really does work.
Cold! Always run cold dampen over a burn right away <but not ice>. Lavender oil works well on burns.

It stops the burning process which is still going on contained by the skin after the initial burn.

Run the burn under running cold water for nearly 10 or 15 minuts or longer if it still hurts.
