lots of aloe vera cream and a wet towel over the area help you feel better, if you apply heaps every hour or so for a day or two next you shouldnt peel either. trust me!

spread some aloe vera based product on. they sell a bunch within the same suncare aisle as sunscreen. banana boat also sells a soothing product that's blue surrounded by a spray bottle. it provides a cooling sensation.
get in the shower and stay underneath the cold water for as long as you can stand it. this will help draw for a while of the heat out of the burn. then i would slather down next to aloevera gel and turn on a ceiling fan and lay on the bed. i would also drink plenty of water and purloin a couple aspirin.

Apple cider vinegar works great. If it's a bleak burn (as in, blistered), you can apply apple cider vinegar. If it's not that bad (just a bit raw), don't use any, as it'll burn.
Aloe vera doesn't restore to health it any faster, but it does sooth the pain.

try aloe vera next to lidocaine. :) soothes and cools all at once!
